Description
Screw cap 38/400 contains 95% cellulose fiber and can be recycled like paper and is biodegradable.
The paper lid is a fiber-based screw cap made from cellulose from sustainably managed forests, the same type of fiber found in paper. The lid is designed to fit dry contents, such as food, health food products and similar products. Up to 9 times lower environmental impact compared to plastic alternatives.
The lid comes with an IHS seal included (also in the price). To use this cap, a filling line is required that has a heat sealing function. Therefore, this cork is not suitable for those who work with manual packaging.
Pros:
- 95% bio-based material with high fiber content.
- Cellulose fibers are strong, biodegradable and do not contribute to micro-plastics when they break down in nature.
