Glass with recycled material
Glass is a material that can be recycled again and again without losing its properties. Many glass packages today are manufactured with a high proportion of recycled glass.
In some models, we offer bottles made from 100% PCR-recycled glass (Post-Consumer Recycled glass). This means that the glass comes from already used and recycled glass products.
Lightweight bottles
Another important factor for environmental impact is the weight of the bottle. Lighter bottles require less raw material and also reduce emissions during transport.
We offer lightweight bottles that meet Systembolaget's requirements, making them a smart choice from both an environmental and logistics perspective.
Ultralight bottles
For further reduced material usage, ultralight bottles are also available. These bottles have an even lower weight but maintain the same function and quality.
Systembolaget also prioritizes these types of bottles, as they help reduce climate impact.
rPET – plastic with recycled content
Many of our plastic packages are available in rPET, which means that the plastic is made from recycled material.
Depending on the product, our bottles can be manufactured with different levels of recycled content – up to 100% rPET. This way, you can choose how environmentally friendly your packaging should be.
Monoblock stoppers
The closure also plays an important role. Monoblock stoppers are made of a single material, which makes them easier to recycle compared to many traditional stoppers. The simple material structure can also contribute to lower producer fees in recycling systems in Sweden and other countries.
It is a simple way to make the entire package more recyclable.
Monomaterial pumps
We also offer monomaterial pumps, which are designed to consist of fewer materials. This makes them easier to sort and recycle – an example of how even small components can contribute to a more sustainable packaging solution.
