PET bottles made from recycled plastic – rPET
PET bottles can be made from virgin (newly produced) plastic, recycled PET material (rPET), or a combination of both. For companies that want to reduce the proportion of virgin plastic, rPET can be an alternative.
Most of our PET bottles can be offered with varying proportions of rPET, up to 100%, depending on the model. This makes it possible to choose the proportion of recycled material based on EU standards, needs, and preferences.
We offer PET bottles for beverages with at least 25% recycled PET (rPET), adapted for contact with foodstuffs. For new beverage packaging, we recommend at least 30% rPET to meet upcoming EU requirements and create a more sustainable packaging solution.
